wikipedia is often biased and has unreliable
information

Having known editors that have been banned by wikipedia's kangaroo
courts, where decisions are often made by one's opinion on the topic
being edited and not the rules, I can guarantee that wikipedia is at
times very biased. Appeals are ignored at times, and the same editors
that attacked the person on the content page are the ones helping to
make the decision to ban the person.

Bannings of users are made to control the content of the pages to
ensure that only certain opinions are presented.

I can assure you that wikipedia's information is poor at best. Coming
to wikipedia as an expert and knowing something about a topic and
editing the topic is frowned upon. These people are called single
purpose accounts and are derided. What happens at wikipedia is that
full time editors with their biased opinions make alliances with
others and play the system to control the content of the pages.

In the case of the child abuse articles, child abuse cases with
clearly guilty parties that have refused appeals are often exonerated
at wikipedia as being apparently innocent. A legitimate psychiatric
diagnosis may be considered illegitimate if it involves child abuse
origins.

Edits can be made by anyone. Articles with information that have
citations are usually never checked and may be misinterpreted by the
editor spinning the article to their own opinion. A wikipedia article
may look very scientific, but usually there is little or no quality
checking at all.

In essence, wikipedia is basically worthless as a source of
information.
