Forget It... I Take It you're DownLoading "NoticeToQuit.pdf" from
courts.yourstate.gov/landlord/tenant and using Adobe *READER* to Fill
In the TEXT BOXES, then Sending your EDITED .pdf to your Local
Printer... And what you're Trying To Achieve is to SAVE the Original
TEMPLATE .pdf onto Your HD in WORD .doc Format for Later Use...
Did I Say "FORGET IT"?
First, *READER* can ONLY "Save As" in .txt Format... AND, Doing So
STRIPS the .pdf TEMPLAT & Formating Code... "Printing" ONLY the TEXT
BOX Edits...
WORTHLESS...
Adobe Acrobat version 8 runs about $120 - at best price. Version 9
should be out in about a month or two. $99 to upgrade. $299 for the
std version (From Adobe)
Second, $120 for *ACROBAT* is a STEAL... [I Use ACROBAT 6 and Can't
Imagine Professional Life w/o It]...
You should Drop the $120 Immediately... Don't Worry about UPgrading
to 9...
I'm attempting to fill in the forms (without destroying the original
layout - or look) and really want the ability to save my work and not
just do things on line and printing.
This must be a constant problem for everyone since forms are
constantly changing. What really works? I have downloaded several
demo packages and none have worked so far.
Third, EVEN IF ACROBAT 8 *DOES* Convert .pdf to .doc, [6 Does
NOT... Adequately... it EMBEDS the .pdf TEMPLATE in the .doc as a
GRAPHIC and Includes the Format STRIPPED Text below Said Graphic] WHY
would you want to Convert to ANY Word Processor Format?
ACROBAT is TITS, and Will Do ALL your Document Editing Needs...
INcluding Converting .doc AND a Gazillion Other Software Formats
TO .pdf, The Better To SHARE via Internet...
