Find yourself a good lawyer and pay for a consultation about
the case. S/he will be able to tell you whether it's worth
pursuing legal action. It doesn't seem clear to me that it's
not, so I'd say that it's worth investigating further.
I think, in general terms, its probably not worth pursuing, even if
there was a case there. Sometimes you just have to lick your wounds
and move on...
