"We the people...", elect people to represent us in OUR government.

The United States Constitution is not about, by, or for the exclusive
enjoyment of the federal government. It is FOR the people. All of the
people. Not just those in government positions.

All of the Amendments are "Rights" granted to the Citizens, all
persons regardless of involvement, of the United States.
You should have learned this before highschool.

Do you have the right to free speech or is that only applied to the
federal government as well?
If you say one Amendment is FOR the federal government only, then they
all are.
According to your theory then, no cop is required to read an arrested
person "his rights".

Are you implying then that because the 2nd amendment uses the word
"militia", then only the federal government can declare what a
"militia" is? Do you own a gun? Why? According to your own words,
you're not allowed to. No one is. Not even that cop in uniform.
Because he's not the federal government.

Look it up on google. "Militia" means a civilian military. That means
you and me. So the 2nd Amendment does in fact apply to each and every
citizen of the United States. Not just the government.
Because it is not restricted in the Amendment, states can legally
control who is allowed to become part of that militia.

As for marijuana, the DEA has busted california residents for growing
medicinal marijuana because, "There is no such thing as legal
marijuana", and there is not a damn thing California can do about it.
Ask them yourself.


Actually there is if they would do something about it.
Merely growing a plant is not "commerce among the several states."
