Ok, then how do I file a lien against the vehicle?
Call YOUR local DMV office, they will instruct you
on exactly how to file a lien in your State.
Prior to filing the Lien on the Title, you'll want to have a signed
Primissory Note between you and the tenant spelling out
exactly what your agreement is, and for how much $, and
any other terms and conditions you have agreed upon.
It would be wise to consult a local lawyer in person
on drafting that agreement.
And as usual, ignore the erroneous advice from certain
uneducated legal idiots who post to this public newsgroup.
