I just got a DUI and before this I had already laid plans to move to
another state. I'm set to move before the court date. For now I can
still drive (until the court date that is) with a slip of paper that
the officer gave me. I am not required to appear in person for the
court date. I currently reside in WI and will be moving to CO.
My question, can I move to the new state and get a license there
before my court date or will they refuse me because of my impending
court date?
If you are not convicted yet, you can get a CO license.
Once in CO, can I get the ability to drive to work after
I am convicted in WI?
Depends, call and ask the Colorado DMV.
Thanks
