ok well i always thought if i got pulled over that id get the ticket
and id still be allowed to ride the car as long as my friends get out
of the car. so they can wait at the side of the road while i drive
away with a ticket. am i right or wrong? why wouldnt i be allowed to
drive the car?

Oh, or are you suggesting that you would get your ticket, dump your
friends
on the road, and drive away? Nice.

Donna

i am not suggesting i WOULD i am suggesting i CAN since you say i wont
be able to drive the car. i dont understand why i wouldnt be able to
drive the car if my license isn't suspended. the provisional license
since i cant drive with teenagers and i get caught so i leave the
teenagers and receive a ticket learn my lesson and drive home obeying
the provisional license rules just like you can drive home when you
get a ticket for speeding. not speeding is a rule of the license and
if you break it that does not mean you cant drive away right?

This is something that you'd be better off anonymously calling your state
police department about. Personally, I can't see *any* police officer
allowing you to deposit a carful of minors on the side of the road and drive
away. Just because you are interpreting the provisions of your license one
way, doesn't mean jack if the officer who stops you doesn't interpret it the
same way. You're the one in violation, and the law will be on his or her
side.

as long as i dont get my license suspended the first time around, then
i will be ok and wont argue. i dont understand why people say you get
your license suspended the first time? and dont tell me because
everyone says it, it's true because people used to say teenagers under
18 couldn't get a license anymore because some bullshit law was passed
and i proved them wrong. ok so in the message board im hearing two
things. that i get my license suspended and that you get in a ticket
and in a lot of trouble but no suspension? which is it!?!? i would
like proof too please- Hide quoted text -

i also dont understand why all of you have to be so damn
patronizing!?!? just because i am a teenager does not give you or
anybody else the right to automatically judge me. i am just curious to
know what are the ACTUAL consequences of not obeying the provisional
license laws i did not ask to be offended, judged, patronized,
stereotyped, or insulted. i also dont want your opinion on teenagers
overall. i just want to know the consequences of not obeying the rules
of the provisional license and some proof of that claim. simple?
