Geragos scored some points so he's probably happy that he accomplished
what he could with her cross. However Hum has to be happy that Geragos
didn't do any major damage to her.
Are you on DRUGS? Geragos DEMOLISHED her. You weren't there, and you
can't know. And Denise Nix is trying furiously to do some CYA for the
_Breeze_, who came out early on the WRONG side of this case.
She was able to respond to Geragos's questions with credible skill.
No she wasn't. She was fumbling for words.
I'd call her testimony a tie.
I'd call you deluded.
During re-direct questioning by Deputy District Attorney Craig Hum, Key-
Marer read from her journal portions in which she and Brown discussed his
agreeing to let her husband adopt Lauren, noting the girl seemed "settled."
And we have NOTHING but the word of Sarah that Cameron had ever agreed to
allow her husband to adopt Lauren. And, stay tuned. There is BOUND to be
more testimony (from others) about this (and it WON'T support Sarah). The
truth of the matter is that Cameron had NEVER agreed to the adoption.
CaMORON did agree to let Lauren be adopted. Will you tell us why he
changed his mind?
Also during questioning by Hum, Key-Marer read additional notations that
showed discord between her and Brown starting around Lauren's fourth visit
with Brown -- mostly about Brown not wanting Lauren to have a relationship
with his own mother.
Oh, you think?
You do not think, Ted.
And what do you think his mother -- who IS on the witness
list -- is going to say about this?
That CaMORON was a self-centered prick and the world would have been a
better place if his daddy had shot him into the sheets.
Key-Marer and Brown argued because she felt it was inappropriate for him to
bad-mouth his mother in front of Lauren since their daughter was forming a
relationship with her, despite Brown's objections to it.
Yeah, that's Sarah's side of the story. Cameron tells it differently.
CaMORON MURDERED Lauren. He is going to lie.
(She clearly did well.
Not from where I was sitting.
She did well from where I was sitting. Did you notice the person in
the courtroom in the nice suit, giggling from time to time? That was
me.
How the *** did Patty get so fat? Has she been stealing your cookies?
Geragos tried to paint her as a liar who fabricated these accusations only
after her daughter died.
And he was VERY effective, particularly when he pointed out that there were
some VERY serious charges that Sarah made on the stand on direct questioning:
charges that she had neglected to make at ANY time earlier: NOT in grand jury
testimony, NOT in a deposition in connection with a civil case in 2001, and
that did NOT appear in a VERY detailed journal that she kept. And she was
sheepishly unable to explain why these charges first came up only upon direct
questioning in this case, and there wasn't ANY earlier record of them before
now.
So mother-fucking what? Do you recall everything that happens in your
pathetic excuse for a life at every moment in your pathetic excuse for
a life? *** no! All you can remember is where to buy cookies in
bulk.
However Hum was able to show that she told the truth,
Yah, right. And I'm the king of England.
Hum was able to show that she told the truth. I was there. I saw it
all.
that her problems with Cam began before her daughter died.
Which isn't terribly unusual in child visitation/custody cases like this.
In the end a jury will decide how much weight to give to her claims, but I
wouldn't call her destroyed.
I don't know why not. The whole case is a farce, and it has ALREADY been
shown to be so. And we've just barely gotten underway. In the end, you will
KNOW why I always said that I couldn't see them bringing this dog to trial.
Ted is suffering from Acid flashbacks. He isn't watching the same
trial as the rest of the courtroom. So far, Hum has been kicking
Geragos' ass.
Her testimony was not a disaster for the prosecution.
In the same way that Watergate wasn't a disaster for Richard Nixon.
I am surprised, Ted. You agree with us that CaMORON is toast, since it
was the COVER-UP that was a disaster for Nixon.
Lauren is not alive so she can't tell us her feelings, but Sarah was able
to show that contrary to Geragos's assertions she did not say one thing
before and one thing now.)
Get real. That happened right with the start of cross. Geragos read a
letter that Sarah had prepared to read (and did so) before the Ranch Palos
Verdes city council immediately after Lauren's death. And in that letter, it
was quite clear that she regarded Lauren's death as an accident.
She was in denial. I think Kent could go into detail about this. It
is one of the seven stages of grief.
Did you see me there? I'm anxious to see what I look like since Ted
claims I was there.
