[what Ted snipped]

Given the horrid state of your credibility -- which Denise Nix has managed to drag down ever further with her independent report of the proceedings -- that is worth precisely nothing and besides, the fact remains that the CalTech expert didn't do any experiments to support what is essentially an off-the-cuff opinion.

No response, Ted? So, whatever happened to those "experiments" this CalTech expert supposedly did? It doesn't sound as if they retained him at all and as such, his report is not exculpatory evidence.

Dr. Hayes has done his homework,

How? He didn't do ANY experiments at the scene,

He didn't need to.

> he didn't even KNOW about the land movement,

He didn't have to.

and just about EVERYTHING in that report of his must be MADE UP.

You make lots of claims. Most of them are obviously false and the others, more subtly false.

Speaking of which, Geragos really isn't stupid enough to try passing off that stupid worker's comp claim, is he?

His report is WORTHLESS, you might as well wipe your @ss with it.

Your endorsement means that it's unassailable.

and I don't see how the prosecution has committed a foul here. An off-the-cuff response
to a request for an opinion is hardly the kind of credible exculpatory evidence that ought to be disclosed. [...]

You don't "see" because you don't WANT to see.

Ohhhhh, the IRONY!!!!!!!

You, who have an unlimited capacity for willful blindness, have the temerity to accuse *ME* of not seeing what I don't want to see?!? As your old mentor Duh-g used to say, "Pot. Kettle. Black."

You have everything invested in a particular outcome, and you will
> NEVER admit that you are wrong,

What have I been wrong about? I've said that the State had probable cause, that Cam would be indicted, and that the case would go to trial. I have also said that based upon what I know, I thought that it is more likely than not that Cam murdered Lauren, and I've estimated the odds of conviction at 60/40. I have stated that the 995 motion would go down in flames, and that Hayes would be testifying. I have said that Hum would attempt to take the jury on a field trip (and most likely fail). I have told you that the timeline would be critical, and that Hum would contend that Cam didn't have enough time to be able to let Lauren walk up the hill under her own power (a fact borne out by his attempt to have them walk the trail themselves). I have said that there wasn't much hope in your weird "Incredible Running Leap" and "Magic Disappearing Landslide" theories (Hum has contended in pretrial, and I'm fairly sure it's true, that there is zero evidence to support either theory). I've said that the forensic accountant is going to have a few Maalox Moments on cross (I could still be wrong about that). I think my record has been pretty solid to this point.

I'll admit to being surprised more than once by revelations coming out that I didn't expect. For example -- and I'll concede that I perused it only briefly -- I didn't notice CG's great catch with respect to photos showing Cam loading surfboards on that disposable camera. I think I've been careful enough to not go too far out on any limb, but have shredded all of your cockeyed theories.

I don't have the first damn clue as to how the trial will turn out, as there are *way* too many variables. For instance, I thought Geragos had the Peterson trial won, but honestly didn't notice that he had fucked up *so* spectacularly that there was no way he could recover (by promising way too much in his opening) -- putting "Dr. Monkey" on the stand was as bad as dropping his trousers in open court. Credibility is *always* the jury's call, and in a battle of the experts, who your expert is usually matters. And I wouldn't dare to put money on the outcome unless I had a chance to study the judge's pretrial rulings.

At this point, I don't have *that* much exposure left. Whether or not the trial goes Cam's way, I have a fairly respectable batting average.

because it's just not part of your makeup.

A strange comment, coming from someone who has admitted that he would never concede a point to me because he feared I would 'beat him over the head with it.'
