You should understand that responses in this worldwide newsgroup are

The way I see it, which may not be the real world, is that when a
marriage occurs, and the woman changes HER name to yours, her past
debts are her business, not yours.
If her creditors chose to attack you in some fashion, you may be able
to fight them in court. What you should do is ask your questions to a
qualified attorney in your state who is knowladgeable of this area.
That is the only way you will know for a fact what is legally your
problem.
