Re: What to do when an executor refuses to execute the will as written?



Thanks for the advice and direction. I will be sending the executor a
letter outlining what I expect him to do. Since the will did state my
sister could live in the house six months before the home was sold, is
it reasonable to expect that the executor charge her rent for living
there the last 12 months? Also is there a reasonable time frame to
expect a final distribution of the estate? I feel that if I don't push
this issue, my sister will continue to live in this house indefinitely
while the estate continues to pay all of her expense.
