My 2nd son, almost 3 years old, often asks me to draw objects (planes,Ed Emberly. You usually find his books in the children's non-fiction section
houses etc.) and people. I'd like to draw better and be able to teach
him to draw. Can someone recommend a book or other resource?
of the library or bookstore. The books break down drawing common objects
into simple shapes, which works well for non-artistic parents as well as
children ;).
I also find that just having a picture or even a toy version of the item in
front of me helps a lot. My daughter may be able to draw an ankylosaurus
without looking at one, but I can't!
