diet doesn't mean you have to micromanage every single bite. It means
not eating junk all day every day. It means eating fruit and vegetables
and grains and dairy and possibly meat.
Not to be a pain... but I disagree with this. It is about eating low
glycemic index carbs like fruits and veggies, low fat protein like
boneless chicken, tufu and the like, and good fat like avocado, olives,
olive oil. For grains, all you really have that is worth a darn is steel
cut oats.
Just to pick a nit, be sure to leave plenty of fats
in for toddlers. They build the myelin their nervous system
needs out of cholesterol.
Yes! There are lots of good fats that are particularly good for toddler
brains. Like olives, olive oil, avocado...
