Not to be a pain... but I disagree with this. It is about eating low glycemic index carbs like fruits and veggies, low fat protein like boneless chicken, tufu and the like, and good fat like avocado, olives, olive oil. For grains, all you really have that is worth a darn is steel cut oats.
Just to pick a nit, be sure to leave plenty of fats
in for toddlers. They build the myelin their nervous system
needs out of cholesterol.
