I don't know what elementary school teachers are thinking when they do this. We got a list from our son's teacher this year that included a picture, name, address, birthday of every children, plus the names and phone numbers of their parents, including cell phone numbers in some cases.

To which I want "Uh, WHAT?" We in no way knew the teacher was going to do this before she handed it to us. Talk about violation of privacy issues. The school office wouldn't be handing that information out to just any random person who called, so why are the teachers handing it out to 20 people I don't know from anyone?
