Well, as has been said "marriage" at this age just means they like/adore someone very much.
I've also re-experienced that (here at least) it's cool to call other kids gay/lesbian which I find funny, especially when I see a bunch of boys calling one of their mates a lesbian.

I'd just acknowledge that yes, she likes her a lot and when she's 18 she can marry whomever she chooses.
