Could you share the recipe please?
It's outrageously simple. The basic recipe is 1 cup
steel cut oats, 4 cups of water, and 1/2 cup of half & half
(or cream, or milk, or whatever), plus a pinch of salt. Toss
it all in the crockpot and cook on low overnight.
You can add cinnamon, dried fruits, or whatever else
strikes your fancy. I usually just put cinnamon in the oatmeal
while it's cooking, and then lay out assorted dried fruit, fruit,
brown sugar, butter, cream, etc. (whatever's on hand) to mix in.
Best wishes,
Ericka
Thanks, Ericka. I bought some steel cut oats at the bulk section of my
grocery store. I try this tomorrow am.
