I found a miracle carpet cleaner called "Spot Shot instant
professional carpet cleaner". It comes in a spray can. After you lift
up the stuff from the carpet, soak the area liberally with this, rub
it with a rag and dunk the rag in hot water and wring it. Repeat the
rubbing and wringing 3-4 times. You won't even notice the stain. We
have beige carpets and you can't tell that anything happened. Some
carpet cleaners like Resolve leave the carpet pile brittle. This
product is really awesome. I bought a four pack from Sam's or Costco.
I have two kids who generally like to throw up in bed when they have a
cough. I use it a lot. I only used it on carpet so far. Never on
furniture. Some day I'll try it in my car upholstery.
