Are you sure they always *want* all the parents to
stay? Maybe some of the hosts are wishing a few of the parents
would go away too so that they don't have to feed and entertain
all of them as well instead of focusing on the kids? ;-)
Definitely. I couldn't wait for the days when my ds was old enough for
drop-off parties. I found the whole "coffee klatch" atmosphere that took
over the birthday parties annoying.
