If DH adopts her later she will say "why didn't my BD want me?"

If DH doesn't and her BD remains absent later she will say "Why didn't
SD want me?"

There are lots of SD's out there whose SD's don't think, "why didn't SD want
me" simply because she wasn't adopted. Maybe she would think that if he had
no interest in her life, but if the bond was there, I don't think she'd
question why not the paper. If you are thinking she would question why SD
wouldn't adopt her when BD wanted to give her up, then you could say that it
was you who wanted her to maintain some sort of tie to her BD in case things
changed in the future. Of course, like other posters said, you don't have
to make this decision now. It would be wise to wait until things settle.


BD has made his intentions VERY CLEAR and has not changed his mind by
sleeping on it.

He hasn't slept on it very long.

And by the way the shrink has detected some emtional abuse in DD. She
is angry and takes the "Daddy" doll and beats him up. We know it is
Daddy and not DH because of the appearance of the dolls. After that....
Good Riddans to the ex.

I wouldn't put too much into it. She may have anger issues or not. Just
remember those McMartin dolls.
