You all have given me lots of good suggestions. Just to clarify: I do plan
on continuing potty training - I just am not convinced he will be there when
school starts. I also would never present him to the school as being potty
trained when he clearly is not. I wouldn't do that to him first of all and
then it would be unfair to the school. We signed up for preschool last
March and I really did think he would be potty trained by now but boy is he
stubborn. Do you all think that at his age 3.4 years old I should try a
potty chair? He was never really interested in sitting on it when he was
younger. He stands up to go #1 because his daddy does so it would only be
used for #2 I guess.
The school does not want him to come to school in pullups as they feel they
inhibit training. So he will go in underwear. I am hoping that I can get
the pee thing down and avoid the poo thing at school all together. I had
never thought that he might hold it untill school is out. It is only from
900 to 1230 so it is a possibility. Thanks to all of you for your
suggestions!
