Actually, *I* give a ***. So your statement is false.
Whoosh! I was making a point in reference to *her* statement (ahem,
quotation marks...?). Not that I expect you to get it - STILL. I
won't bother explaining it further.
More accurate would have been to say that *you* don't give a *** what
Nan thinks.
Or what I think, or what anyone else things, for that matter.
One sometimes wonders why you bother reading (or writing), since you
clearly don't give a *** what anyone else thinks, and don't care if
anyone agrees with you or finds your ideas even interesting.
Wonder all you want - "It's a free unmoderated newsgroup. Not your
personal coffee clatch." I *really* think I should make that my new
.sig...
Nchrist, honey, I know you mean well. I really do. But don't bother
sending me lovey emails to my personal account. First off, it's
usually not received well, to email someone without invitation.
Secondly, I am not likely to change anything about myself simply
because some stranger on the internet doesn't like my posting style. I
think you are smart enough to undertsand what I am trying to tell you.
Dragon*** here and her band of succubi apparently aren't, since I
have hit them over the head with this fact about a hundred times and
they still Mooooooo about it as if they are in season.

Just in case anyone reading this wonders, I have never, ever ever sent
-L personal e-mail. Ever. Nor am I likely to -- anything I want to say
to someone, I say out in the open. If someone e-mails me -- or requests
a private response -- I will go along with that, but even that has
almost never happened.
Nor have I suggested that you might be nicer, at least not lately -- you
clearly don't WANT to be nice, and obviously see no benefit to it.
While I find your judgementalism and way of writing remarkably
unpleasant, I would defend your right to be as distasteful as you wish
to be on this newsgroup. If I want to hang out on a moderated
newsgroup where this sort of thing is not tolerated, then I'll go there;
as long as I'm in an open room, I can expect to read folks like you from
time to time. Heck, I don't even bother to kill file anyone.
But then, you also have to accept that some of us may choose to comment
on how unappealing we find you to be. We also havc THAT right.
If you don't like it -- well, you can go somewhere else, too, if you
prefer.
