If his brain and head aren't growing well, it has nothing
to do with the kind of stimulation you're giving him, and you
can't fix it by giving him more stimulation. He may be perfectly
normal in all respects other than having a smaller than usual head,
or he may have some degree of microcephaly. There really isn't
any treatment for microcephaly, but they focus on appropriate
therapies to minimize any impacts. And even if it is microcephaly,
some kids with microcephaly don't really have any diabilities
resulting from it. So, over time you watch and see how things
are going. If he's making good progress on developmental
milestones, that's a good sign that either his brain development
is normal or, if not, that any impairment is mild.
