I don't think I said that it was 'most people', because I don't know
that most people are afraid of dentists. Perhaps our difference is

are more attuned to their kids than that, recognize
their children's own fears, and act in ways to minimize
them if they can. In what way do you consider yourself

I believe the opposite of what Rosalie said also is a problem. Parents are
not afraid of something (the dentist) and believe the child should not be,
either, whether the child is or isn't.

Yes I said that too. People that aren't afraid have a difficult time
anticipating that their child will be.

FWIW, I agree with you. I believe
most parents are more attuned to their children than Rosalie gives them
credit for.
