We do not have cable and never let DS watch any TV other than PBS.
Also if we were ever watching a movie while he is around, if there is a
fight scene or other voilence, we immediately put TV off until DS is
away.
Other parents are recommending me to show such stuff(in fact apparently
their kids enjoy such scenes) , so he gets used to the noise and the
fighting etc.
While I know that that is not the great idea, I do wonder if we should
become little less conservative and let him watch (for example when we
are watching a movie and there is a stunt)
Please share your thoughts,
I think your son is fine. Some kids are rowdy, some aren't, and there's
nothing wrong with either. Deliberately exposing your kid to violence
(even on TV) is an... um... unusual idea.
