Re: Potty training - night time poos. Help?



Kids have a way of figuring out and taking advantage of "the system",
don't they?

Maybe you could alter the rules a bit... a sweet for a "complete poo",
so if he keeps going back to finish he gets no extra sweets.

I rewarded my kids with "potty treats" as well, but if they did it in
the night, I'd tell them they could have the treat the next day.

To keep those "midnight poos" to a minimum, you might want to encourage
the pre-bedtime poo, or maybe restrict major food & drink a couple of
hours before bedtime...
