I guess I don't see the world as that starkly good and bad.

Like others, I'm not willing to tar the BSA as irredemably bad.

That particular policy is, and, I hope, will one day be changed -- but,
in the meantime, if some folks who disagree with the policy choose to be
involved anyway, I don't see, in that, an endorsement of the policy.
