Seattle's wacky that way. Looked at just as an economic decision, it
makes much more sense to rent than to buy right now. If we bought the
house we live in (not that it's for sale), the mortgage would probably
be twice what we pay now in rent.

1988 - 1992, paying out-of-state tuition at a state school. I meant for
one year, not for all four! I just looked it up: a year's out-of-state
tuition at my alma matter is now a tad over $14,000.
