I didn't know about the group. Do you have a link or anything for me? I
think the University where I'd have him tested recommends age 7 which will
be coming up soon.

I think his teacher does do that and he gets to leave the main classroom and
go to a second for reading and math where the groups are much smaller (about
6 kids) which helps. I'm fine with that this year as it is a very common
thing but I'm hoping that we'll find strategies to make things work inside
the regular classroom. I'm frustrated because the only area he showed delay
in was the auditory processing pocket so he didn't qualify for an IEP or any
services. Of course their isn't much expected of a kindergartener. They
basically told us he has a high chance of crashing and burning later but
until then...he doesn't qualify...grr. He doesn't meet the criteria either
so there isn't much I can do about it until scores fall or something.

Yep. I think a mother should listen to her instincts in situations like
these.
