*Huge* amount of time between 10 months and three years old. You've got
plenty of time to work on it.
Anyways,

There's a reason for that then. He's hungry and wants the formula. Most
breastfed babies nurse way more than they eat solids at that age only we
don't know exactly how much they are getting. Don't worry about the ounces
so much and follow his lead.

That sounds like a lot of food, actually.
At 10 months I always counted on just one big "meal" a day. It's all either
of mine would do.

<eyes popping!> That's a LOT of food!! Really, what are you concerned about?

You think an 18-19lb ten month old is small? That sounds like a good sized
baby. Stop comparing and follow your baby's lead when it comes to what he
eats. You are doing just fine.
At ten months my dd was 16 pounds born 8lb3oz. The ped was never worried.
She's now over 20lbs at 14 months. What I'm trying to say is that they all
have spurts at different times.
And also, I read that at 9 months old, you are

Don't really know the bottle recommendations other than they should have
breastmilk/formula as a primary source of nutrition for the first year. Try
not to worry about it. It sounds like you have a thriving baby on your
hands.
