There's talking, and then there's talking . . .
I think it's OK to sometimes just tell a kid that mommie's ears need a
bit of a rest.
I got that idea from my mom; DD2 is a TALKER, and there were times when
my mom would say, "Oh, honey, grandma's ears are SOOO tired; could we
have it quiet for just a bit?" DD2 seemed to accept that as a good
reason to be quiet for a few whole minutes at a time.
If it's the questions themselves that are annoying (or the
repetitiveness of them) you COULD, after giving a straight answer, start
making up silly answers, or start asking HER questions.
