My daughter started antibiotics for an ear infection yesterday, and honestly, today she's acting fine, and hasn't really needed pain medication, been pulling on her ear, or anything like that. She's eating reasonably well, although she's low on the number of ounces of EBM she's taken today. Is it safe for me to send her to mother's day out tomorrow and go ahead and teach my class at the college, or should I attempt to get peer coverage or try to contact my students and reschedule my class and stay home with her. Realistically, I can only reschedule or get someone to cover for me once or twice at most, and I hate to use one if it won't be a problem to send her to MDO tomorrow, since we're just starting cold and flu season.
If she's feeling fine and she'll have been on antibiotics for two days, I'd feel find sending her to MDO.
Best wishes, Ericka .
