The section on bed sharing says that the matter is contraversal, gives some
studies that discuss bedsharing and other sleeping arrangements, and says
"investigators in Scotland endorsed the United Kingdom Department of
Health's advice that the safest place for an infant to sleep is in a crib
in the parents' room for the first 6 months of life. "
The recommendations at the end of the guidelines agreed with this.
