I'd probably just ask her directly.

That said, have you ever been to a party hosted by her before? How were
things handled? ie, anyone invited to my house for a party at *any*
time knows they can safely assume there will be tons of food. ;-).
Amongst our friends I know we can expect the same. But if it was
someone I didn't know well, I'd just call to ask.
