Much to be understood still, but obviously there is something going on
which is producing heat in the reaction. Thanks for the link.
I was pleased to see the pentagon and israel taking up the cause
quietly while others mock it.
The medical researcher that discovered that it was a bacterium which
caused ulcers was mocked and misunderstood right up until the day
he was proved correct.
FWIW, the ulcer guy obviously never met comix and Bluhh
BH, I have trouble buying into this one mainly because in my days
consulting for Grumman, I spent considerable time with its physicists
working at the Princeton Tokamak.
hah! we have similar views... I was at LLNL in the late 80's for some
of that.
along the lines of 'cold fusion'...from the same quarter. same type of
folks
in Utah came a cheap ass brochure on 'magnetic water purification'...
and guess who
bought a few for testing? Hanford Labs (huge nuc weapons lab in
eastern washington
state)...the brochure looked like it was done by somebody's kid. the
device, a section of
PVC pipe with permanent magnets clamped around the outside, and a
flange on each end.
they paid 10,000 dollars or so for that hummer. but it was genuine
schedule 40 pvc, not
cheap schedule 20 used in irrigation.
These guys took it quite seriously.. I was asked to comment.. and I
read their brochure and
'tests'... same sort of loopy logic, spin and bogus slang terms we
have with the 'over unity' free energy
folk.
In the case of 'polarized water' it seemed to errr.. short out... as
soon as it ran through more than an inch of
metal pipe.
free energy anal-ists remark? '..ahh. umm.. this device needs
more magnets'.

In short, the guys down at Princeton pretty much reiterated the same
complaints in the Sixty Minutes clip. The magnitude of generated
energy is so minute that all the emphasis is place on the accuracy of
the instrumentation.
The point they tried to make is that fusion should be so efficient and
so noticeable that results should be significant regardless of how the
instruments are calibrated.
it seems the phrase 'dilution is the solution' had found new adherents
in the cold fusion business,
if they can claim they fuzed two out of 500 trillion atoms, it would
be almost impossible to detect diluted to that
extent and with all sorts of random variables in existence.. stray
radiation etc. the perfect solution for
lack of an obvious proof.
OTOH...
The Tokamak itself has not shown to produce anything of any
significance in the twenty years the taxpayers have been subsidizing.
So... Just wondering if controlled fusion is even possible in our
lifetimes?
i had been considering that for a while myself.
my conclusion, the heat of the fusion reaction drives the plasma apart
(less dense), terminating the fusion
reaction.. no way in hell to then ramp up the electromagnetic
containment sufficiently to keep it
compressed enough to regain fusion... and if you did it would just re-
expand again, using more energy in the
containment field than would be produced by the fusion reaction.
the reaction apparently has to occur in deep space, and with
compression by mass/ gravitation...and with the
atomic fuel in abundance.
(ive been considering black holes for a while as well... they dont
have atomic fuel, so there is no plasma, no fusion
reaction, just the shreds of subatomic solids (we dont understand
yet).. spinning into the core, with conservation of
energy perfectly in tact..a conversion of mass to velocity. Running
a set high school level alegraic equations in a set
of indentical but separate matrix.. one being viewed as matter enters
a black hole, and the other matrix viewed from
inside the black hole as the material is taken in... and with the
equations e=mc2, f=ma, and bernoulli's principle,
and noticing that f is a vector force... increasing limitlessly with
acceleration.
I noticed enough to be driven off the the TI campus in Dallas yelling
like daffy duck.
the two matrix sets of identical equations will not reconcile unless
you introduce the notion of what I call a graviton field..
a field completely rigid to considerations (demonstrated by the
electon pair spin reversal experiments etc)... and completely
permialbe to larger 'particles'..such as neutrino's.
my current view... so I set out to define the graviton field and
graviton particle size... i burned my notes.
they need to stay that way.
Earlier along these lines when I was at LLNL having lunch with Dr
Woldgang Strobel (age 28 at the time from east germany ..during the
cold war no less.. I always thought that was odd)... here he was at
one of the USA's more or less top secret labs running Col Wm Beardons
neutrino mass experiement ..
Woldgang and I had gone to lunch at the cafeteria, he
was mid chomp into his Ham on rye when I said... i sed...surely
enough... wolfie... you dont suppose that this neutrino mass
experiment
you'all are up to is an effort to define a field through which thought
travels? eh? I sed to old wolfie, even though he was only 28 at
the time.
I considered it a casual remark a the time, but wolfie ho had become
my friend by then, stopped mid chomp on his ham on rye, stood up
abrubtly, turned on his heels and walked off... next time we met he
said we had to keep our conversation limited to the gismo he was
building. (he was imploding h3 in glass beeds with lasers with
the intent of generating neutrino or two, that might show up at other
end of a
150' long solid lead rod, seeing as how that was sufficient to shield
anything else.... with is top sekrit target at the other end, a mass
spectrometer
of sorts.)
all that failed its covert intent, but did succeed in allowing the
development of over the horizon radar.
My view... regardless my own stunning levels of ignorance, some of
these guys take the cake... the nature of the field these guys are
looking for is easily derived... so i burned my notes leaving only a
small vapor trail....
I would not be in the least surprised if more than a few already had..
this research and the strategy is not new at all, Maxwell for instance
was
advanced beyond what we understand even now with all of our
instrumentation. (early 1900's)
I figure the idiot class will never connect the dots,
and any with sufficient integrity will.. but beyond a certain
threshold they too will burn their notes... the infamous but
fortunately now deader
than hell Dr Delgado an exception...
and(the military has various projects in these areas, star fire and
some under even less scrutiny... morons to
the core.. self destructive... their own internal intellectual
algorithm precluding anything but more ruin... partially derived from
notions L Rong Hubbard
of criminally insane fame, in the same lineage that led A Hitler to
the insights that brought him to power...and ruined the lot...and
millions of others... all on the same
exact algorithm... now popular as hell with our 'intelligence'
community... that entire ball of wax goes south.
I could write a book about the extended links. these self destruct,
they destroy their host nations....
the sf chronicle Feb 10 issue, 08 had an article on
its business page mentioning one of the core vectors..
I will leave it to the sufficiently curious to dig deeper. the
article concerned the carlyle group and
mentioned one of its more revealing connections... Id met a few on the
benign but still ignorant side, its early inspiration.. i met pat p,
a week before
he died, he was weak. I didnt know why at the time, but I do
now. and Im willing to leave that hint. The notion that one
must become a viewpoint and
have a location in order gain power, or rv, is entirely
fatal..despite its appeal among ruthless idiots.
these take their entire nations to ruin.... in all aspects.
