Why not the straight 15% flat tax on all income? Then levy a

These present Tax Law's are too complex and too much bull*** in
them.
We need less legalese and more common sense when it comes to the
tax
code.
I would be happy to pay 15% of all earned money. It would not
hurt
me
a bit and I would likely be paying less.
Yeah, but people that are barely getting by would not do so well.
Granted, they should get their priorities in order and get the
education and skills they need in order to achieve a higher income
but
you and I know that's just not the norm.
My tax reform would be the simpliest of all. An asset tax. The
current
budget is 3 Trillion dollars. The current worth of all assets in
America is over 60 Trillion dollars. So the budget is about 5% of
the
worth of the country. So, everyone pays 5% of their asset value in
taxes. If you're own 10 thousand bucks worth of assets, you pay
500
bucks. If you own 10 Billion in assets, well you figure it out. No
exclusions, no deductions, no exemptions and no exceptions.
Everybody
pays something. And, if you get caught hiding assets, you simply
forfeit them.
What would be unfair about that?
And what if you're retired or unemployed?
Should that status grant you any special priviledge? I'm retired,
unemployed and don't even take social security or medicare. And
I'll
guarantee you my asset value probably would not put me in the over
500
bucks tax bracket. But, I still use the roads and probably more
government services than most. So, why should I not be required to
pay
what I can?- Hide quoted text -

Well you have another problem, how will they value the assets? Isn't
that the problem we are having now?

So what? Who cares? What had you rather do? Try to convince a
government agent your property is worth "X" or trying to convince
him
you didn't violate some obscure paragraph in the millions inculcated
within the IRS code?- Hide quoted text -

So what are you asking, the taxpayer values the assets? April 15
comes
around and you have a form where you list your assets, and what you
claim the value of them are? Or does the government put a value on
the
assets? And how would they do it. An IRS comes around and looks at
your home, car and what ever else you have and puts a number on it?

Before you can tax an asset you have to put a value on it, how would
that be done?
Super TURBO TAX for Government use only. You will use it to buster.
This is the version for scofflaws and cheats..

Speaking of everyones favorite President. Where is Bush hiding?
Remember Clinton..? By this time he had made over $20-million in
speaking honorariums ( payoffs) Super *** is still in hiding and Bush
is cutting brush on the ranch? Both are hiding is what it looks like
to me. And they should be after the mess they made..
Bush is in China right now. It's been in the news pretty heavy.
WTF is that moron doing in China? Getting his payoffs.. Lets see the
Bush family is friends with the Saudis via the big potato George. Sr.
and now China via the little pimple G.Jr. I wonder if then are friends
with Donald Trump too? hahah

I can see it now... in 4 years you will be wishing for the good ole days
of Bush. Your new messiah is turning our country into something
resembling Progressive Facism. When that happens, you are going to wish
you hadn't given him so much power. Oh well, maybe our country will do
better under latino leadership.

The only people that refer to Obama as "the Messiah" are Ditto heads,
Beckians and Hannitites. To the rest of us he's just another politician.
As for Bush he could have butted babies on the Whitehouse lawn from
2000-2006 and it wouldn't have raised hardly a grumble from the
right...... Obama doesn't have a pleasant row to hoe, the damage was done
well before he was elected.....I hope you enjoyed your bush taxcuts and
deregulation.

Bush was always a liberal and he allowed the liberal Democratic run congress
to deregulate our banking industry. I think Bush was a Democrat plant in
the Republican party. Just like Obama is a Muslim plant. Did you notice
that he had Georgetown U. cover over painting of Jesus before he would
speak. Yet he kisses everyone elses ass, right in front of the camera.
Loved it when he bowed to the Saudi King. This will be the longes 4 years
in American history.
