Hmmm... how bout if each of y'all post each day bout a different stock
within y'all's portfolio, in a seperate "new" posting... or bout a
stock that y'all are contemplating to buy... that way, if we get 10 or
15 new seperate postings each and every day, it won't be too long
before we can drown out these apparel sales and political posters...
certainly, those who day trade can post bout stocks that they see each
day that may be of interest... if y'all not buying, then which stocks
are ya shorting, or fixin to short... if y'all selling, then post the
why... if not doing any of the above, then take a listing of the
stocks of the day, as noted by the various news services and pick one
to make a comment about...

the market has been thru a lot lately... what the Fed did with Bear
was wrong in my humble opinion... humble?... goodness gracious, it was
dead wrong... should have let the market handle it, even if the market
had dropped like a rock... of which still can happen.  Then, with all
of these commodity prices making new highs, hurting future earnings
reports of practically every company out there... it's why some of us
have been selling a lot of stocks of late, though now i'm down to what
i'm comfortable with...

remembering back when the market tumbled in the past, or just sat like
a hog in mud fer what felt like forever, what got me and others who i
regularly communicate with, thru those tough times was doing what i
suggest y'all do today... each picking a different company stock and
discussing it each day... it kept our attention focused and looking
fer opportunities, fer which paid off most graciously down the
road...

You're like a breath of fresh air on this group. ;-)  Glad you came
back.  So what would be your stock you would like to discuss?  Mine
would be NVO.  I'm wondering if it has topped out finally after a good
run?  It is a global holding so don't really want to sell it.  The
Quicken "Buffet" screener shows that it probably has more to go.  Cramer
said to take some off the table before last summer after it ran up 20
percent but I held on and it went up another 30 percent and has been
doing OK during this correction lately.

Fred

Fred... please post bout "NVO" in a seperate "new" post... that way,
we can generate more stock postings than clothing sales or political
rot... okay!
.
