No, not nursing homes. Too many problems. Just plain 55+ apartments

I once owned many REIT Pfd's prior the last interest rate hikes post
2000. dumped when rates ticked up ... a bit too soon but timing was
never my thing.

The preferred I held were from before it was a REIT,
actually dating back to when it was Crownx and also
owned an insurance company. The REIT conversion cleaned
up the share structure.

Anyway try typing "reit senior" at Google.
Chartwell and Sunrise may be closer to what you want,
although assisted residence may be too close to nursing
home for what you are looking at. I've never really
looked at either.
