Garmin, has been around a lot longer than SiRF

Garmin is king.

SiRF's still going through growing pains, the same way TomTom is.

Garmin, went with SiRF because their algorithms are the best in
chip-set.

Also, SiRF wants to get into cell phones as well too broaden their mass
market appeal.

computer company named quanta, that sent them defective units.

I have been tracking sirf, garmin, and tomtom for along time and they do
not move together. sirf was tanking for a long time while garmin was
going up.
