Following the success of the 1kVA fuel cell powered mains UPS -
Uninterruptible Power Supply. The report can be found at the DTI
website. We are a few months of final submission of a report based on
the PLUG POWER 5KW GENCORE system. As in many of our other
installations, the GENCORE has performed very well. We are testing
using the latest and greatest GENCORE from PLUG POWER.
By integrating with Telecoms Grade Inverters and Rectifiers we were
able to test the complete system as a 4.5kVA True On-Line Mains UPS
system. The report will be published by Testing Engineer Karthik
Rajendran.
The GENCORE is not just limited to use with Inverters for quality
Critical Mains Power but can be used to solely power any -ve or +ve
48vdc (nom) load. From the most sensitive communications equipment
power to the rugged substation switchgear environment, the GENCORE is
ideally suited to your application for battery replacement. The product
is fully CE approved.
siGEN have a complete system ready for demonstration at the offices and
Lab in Aberdeen.
New to fuel cells? Want to test the technology? You don't need to fully
hand over your critical load to a technology you are unfamiliar with.
The PLUG POWER 5KW GENCORE can be paralleled with any battery bank.
Should you suffer a mains failure - the fuel cell will take the load up
to 5kW DC.
Need more power? No problems, the GENCORE system can be paralleled as
easily as batteries.
The GENCORE with its outside - roof or ground - situation, users to
disconnect any air-conditioning required for batteries inside. You also
gain valuable equipment space. The 4.5kVA mains UPS occupies around 6U
of rack - irrespective of runtime required..
