Re: oil prices?



The following is my speculation. Ignoring any political/terrorist/weather
related issues I would expect stabilization in the 55-60 range. Production
is increasing and a bit more use is being made of alternatives, however the
global economy is still expanding and will thus offset these negative
effects. Oil companies should yet make record earnings with oil in this
range. Old hedge contracts at lower prices continue to expire and will be
reissued at higher prices. Also, as I mentioned , most will increase
production. I expect NG prices to stabilize about where they are now or a
bit lower until next winter. Weather will determine the price at this time.
