actually, there is more to this story.
I have been seeing two iexplorer processes running often, where there should
be only one.
one is ~ 27KB, the other is ~ 16KB.
The 16 KB one is rogue and given that I run no less than five
virus/spyware/firewall programs always, I am convinced this is part of
Carnivore.
Why me?
Because I have a big mouth sometimes, which most know.
I can't help it, the idioitic, rediculous BS coming from the show runners
builds inside until my head feels like it's going to freakin explode.

at any rate, the instigators of rougue procs on mmy machine got some
surprises comin...
i love screwin with 'them', though they really should be workin.
