Qualifications to Become a Trader?

hello,

i'm interested in becoming a trader (i.e. bond, equity, derivative,
etc.). what degree, certifications, skills, work exp. do i need?

i currently am a CFA level II candidate, and i'm confident that i'll
pass that. i have 2+ years working for the financial services industry,
and i've won awards in that. finally, i have a bs/ms in engineering,
but my gpa was 3.2 and 3.5 respectively.

what can i do to strengthen my chances for a position here?
