Did you not even apply for that job?
If you did, YOU were the one asking that company to HIRE YOU so that you
could also benefit from that job. You were first to ask for the favor!

A job market is just that, a MARKET. You offer something to the
company (labour) and the company takes you up on you offer and gives
something in return (money), or it doesn't. Nobody is doing "favours"
to anyone, neither the company nor the employee. Like, when you go to
the supermarket you also don't ask for a favour: "Please supermarket,
do me a favour and give me some food. I promise I'll return the favour
some day". That wouldn't be a market. I would be a gift economy. But
the job market ain't one.

If you were that great the company would have done all it could to have you.
But you are not, and they don't really need you as much as you have
mistakenly thought .

Don't be so black and white.
As I've said, I'm not a genius. But I do have something to offer, and
there are companies who need my skills, only it's too costly for them
to hire me with all these draconian visa restrictions.
