What is it really you are planning to do for asking such a question,
especially the second one?
People who abide by the rules and regulations of US immigration don't really
have a need to know on how DHS could find out how long somebody has been out
of the country.
You're not trying to find out how to defeat the system, are you?

Give us a valid reason for wanting to know how DHS could find out.
