Utter nonsense?
I think you seriously need a lesson in comprehension to focus within
the
context of what is being discussed here.
And who is talking about medication just for hypertension in
particular?
I don't think it's me.

Don't you see how stupid you appear reducing a general requirement
concerning the need to declare items imported to the US into a
medication
for hypertension?
Oh Jeeesh, that is the real nonsense!

As a minimum, read what's on this website links.

nonres.htm#medicine

http://library.findlaw.com/1997/Sep/1/131242.html#Medicines/Narcotics

CAN YOU STOP CONFUSING THE OP - please!!!!

He was asking about his HYPERTENSION maintenance medication, that's
blood pressure pills, in case you do not know what hypertension is.

No customs officer is going to be interested in ACE-inhibitors,
betablockers, diuretics or whatever else the OP is taking to keep his
blood pressure under control!!!

How many people entering the US do you think carry blood pressure
medication, seeing that hypertension is probably THE most common
condition that people suffer from?

Do you honestly think customs officers have time to check BP meds - or
are even remotely interested?
