A single entry, one year visa is unusual.
I doubt that it would be an issue on entry, the norm is 6 months, they
could admit you for a lessor period, no way of knowing in advance.
There is also the issue if you want to make further visits, the
consulate may query the longer stay on your previous visa, yet again
no way of knowing.
Nice Day!
Thank you very much so your reply. Appreciate it so much.
Just want to make clarification in your reply. Do you exactly mean that
indicating 3 months intended stay to the US in my Arrival-Departure
Record, Form I-94 upon arrival and entry landing interview, will not be
an issue or a problem with the United States Citizenship and Immigration
Services (USCIS) officer even if what I indicated in the DS 156/157
Forms on how long will Intend to stay in the US when I applied for US
Visa was only a 2 months visit? Thanks a lot.
Sincerely,
Yeng Bautista
