Will one cause a delay for the other? No... but even if that were to
happen, how would you know, or be able to distinguish that from any
other timeline? They will both take an equally long time to process...
but they will be processed independently of each other.

What about Interfiling? In the original poster's case, can he file I-485
with one EB3 I-40 and then later ask USCIS to change it to a other I-
140.
Is it allowed to interfile between the same category (EB3).
