Re: Can I maintain both U.S and Canadian GC?

I am a U.S Green Card holder. Due to the circumstances out of scope of
this
discussion, I am considering applying for Canadian G.C and look for a
job in
Canada.

In case I am not able to survive in Canada, I would like to return to
U.S.
In order to maintain my U.S residentship, I plan on visiting U.S
within 180
days. My concern is that would U.S immigration officer object and not
let me
visit U.S when he finds out that I have Canadian G.C and have
intention of
abandoning my U.S GC?

Thanks in advance.

Why not become a US citizen first, then look at migrating to Canada?
Waiting period for most categories of skilled immigration to Canada is
quite long anyway.
