thanks for the info boiler, would you also happen to know, how strict they
are about their requirements on having housing, bank details etc, obviously,
as Ive lived here (in the US) for the last 8 years I dont have any property
in the uk, and what cash i have here is only worth half as much in England,
and my english bank account is pretty empty. I intend to move back and start
up a business doing what i did before, which is going to more than likely
take a year or two before its making decent money, so would all this be a
big drawback to her being able to follow in the next say 6 months (or less)
we wouldnt need to claim any benefits, we will make it one way or another,
without public funds, but the way the uk visa site reads, its more or less a
no no to let her in without having a house and plenty of money..( my son has
a two bed flat we can stay at, and he also has a business, tho i dont really
want to tie him into sponsorship unless it becomes really necessary) also
can she be offered a job before she gets a visa or not?? I know she cant
work , but can she have offers of work? or even look for work?
hopeing someone can help, it seems that since i left the UK its become
harder to enter Britain now than the US.
